The Falcon Band will perform their annual Holiday Concert this evening at 7:00pm. This is a give back event for our community. A can of food , an unwrapped toy or a cash donation given at the door will get you in for free. All donations go to Toys for Tots and our local food kitchen. THE BEACH ANNOUNCEMENTS for Thursday, December 2, 2021 Auditions for the upcoming spring musical Anastasia will be taking place on Wednesday December 8th and Thursday December 9th. If you are interested in auditioning, please sign up on the Drama Club google classroom page or see Mrs. Hance in Room 6-127. Mu Alpha Theta members, for our next service project we are working with the Humane Society and Caring Fields Felines. Please check Google Classroom and Remind for a list of items to donate to these organizations. The due date for Humane Society items is on Wednesday, Dec. 8th and the Caring Fields items are due on December 16th. Please bring all donations to Room 138. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 8th in Room 138 at 3:10. Reflections 2021/2022 Art Exhibit and Awards Night, Tuesday, November 30th. The Ping Pong Club is hosting a charity tournament in the Cafe on December 15th after school. They will be raising money for THE POWELL Foundation. Entry fee is $10 per player to be paid before December 10th in Mr. Bros room. It sounds like a blast, so make sure you have that date open on your calendar. SGA is collecting toys for a holiday toy drive to support the House of Hope. To donate, bring your new toy to Mrs. Lavelle’s Room by December 9th. There will be Debate Club meetings after school today until 4:00 pm in Mrs. Seaboyer’s room. If you are attending the Dec. 11th tournament, please make sure you attend. You need to grab permission slips and register for the tournament. Juniors and Seniors boys and girls interested in participating in Powderpuff Football or Cheerleading – there is a mandatory informational meeting TOMORROW Friday, December 3rd in the Media Center. You can choose to attend the morning meeting, starting at 7:45 am, or the afternoon session starting at 3:15 pm. Again, this is a mandatory meeting so plan to attend either the morning or afternoon meeting in the Media Center tomorrow Friday, December 3rd if you are interested in participating in Powderpuff. ***SPORTS NEWS*** The Girls Soccer team is traveling to Lincoln Park Academy today to take on the Greyhounds. The 1st game starts @3:30. The Falcon Basketball team is having a triple header vs. Suncoast High School today. Freshman play @4:00, JV play @5:50 and Varsity play @7:00. Come out to the game and fill the stands!! The Girls Weightlifting team is going to Martin County High School for a meet today. Be sure to wish them luck! TOMORROW, the Wrestling team will have their 1st meet of the year! The “BATTLE FOR THE BEACH” will begin @11:30 in the Gym. Wrestling will go on until at least 5:00 pm so make sure you stop by after school to cheer your wrestlers on to VICTORY!!! It is going to be an exciting season for them.

JBHS seniors enrolled in government must take the Florida Civics literacy exam. Students that take Government at JBHS will take this test on Friday Dec 3 at 8:20am. All Students taking government via dual enrollment will test on Monday Dec 6 at 8:20am. Please check the senior google classroom for testing room assignments and more information about the Civics literacy test.

🍎DISTRICT SETS DATES FOR STUDENTS TO RECEIVE REQUIRED FIRST AID, CPR INSTRUCTION🍎 A law passed earlier this year requires Florida school districts to provide 9th and 11th graders with basic training in first aid, including CPR instruction. The Boys Basketball team is continuing their Round Robin Tournament today. They will be taking on Okeechobee at South Fork High School tonight @5:30. Finally, our Lady Falcon Basketball team will be having their 1st game at HOME tonight @6:30. Make sure you come on down to cheer them on. Tickets are available on line on the schools website.
