There is a girls’ lacrosse booster meeting for parents and players Wednesday the 28th at 6:00 in the gym foyer. Please spread the word.
Anyone interested in playing boys’ soccer: there will be one last soccer meeting to discuss tryouts on October 6th at 8:05am and 3:10pm in room 4-137, Coach Diaz’s classroom.
In cross-country news this past weekend, a huge congratulations to Nic Colbert and Justin Cannata finishing 1st and 2nd place out of 215 runners from 22 teams at South Fork's Bulldog Classic cross country meet on Saturday. This is the third time this season that they finished 1st and 2nd, both breaking the school record for the second time this season. Eight runners of the girls’ team set personal records, with Ava Vancour having the fastest time for the team, and Chloe Haley with the second fastest time. Way to go, Falcons!
We have two Falcons up for TCPalm’s “Athlete of the Week”:
Nicholas Colbert, Jensen Beach:
At Saturday's South Fork Bulldog Classic, Colbert won his fourth race in four events and set a personal best time of 16:07.3, over 12 seconds down from his prior best time this season.
Brynn Stoneburg, Jensen Beach:
At the FSPA Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Stoneburg took race wins in the girls 200 and 500 freestyle and helped the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams finish in third and fifth respectively.
