The track team competed at the Jupiter preseason meet held Friday, Feb 18 at Jupiter HS, senior Natalie Evans broke the discus school record of 27.82m (91ft 3in) she set in 2020 with a throw of 29.90m (98ft 1in). What a great way to start the season!!! The boys' Varsity Lacrosse team beat Cocoa Beach last Friday here at Jensen by a score of 10-9. Senior Chase Walker's last-minute goal with 4 seconds left in the game sealed the victory for the Falcons. Freshman Sean Allen led the Falcon goal scorers with 3 goals. Chase Walker had a total of 2 goals and 1 assist. Junior Gio Cascione contributed 2 goals and 1 assist while Freshman Hudson Wilfong had 1 goal and 3 assists. Sophomore Julian Cooper ripped a top-shelf Man-Up goal and Junior Oliver Moore had a goal. Sophomore Connor Ferreira had 3 assists in the Win. Senior Goalie Rocco Smith made 12 saves and Freshman Blake Walker won a season-high 15 Faceoffs. The boys' lacrosse team plays In-District opponent John Carroll tomorrow here at Jensen. Game time: 6pm. This is also Teacher Appreciation Night for the Boys' Lacrosse team. All Teachers and their families get free admission to the game. Come out and watch the fastest game on 2-feet! The baseball team is hosting Jupiter Christian so make sure you stop by and cheer on the boys, the game starts at 6. Jensen Beach’s Duke Byfield is up for TC Palms athlete of the week. At the 2022 John Raich Memorial in Jupiter on Feb. 11-12, Byfield had an impressive run all the way to the championship at 160 pounds, earning two wins via majority decision and pinned three opponents including in the title match against Belen Jesuit’s Darian Torres at the 3:07 mark of the second period to help the Falcons secure the team title over many of South Florida’s top teams. Come out and support your Falcon Softball Team during their first preseason game here against Vero Beach at 7pm tonight! The baseball team is also home too; they will be battling Lincoln Park. That game starts at 6. The boys' lacrosse team is taking Pope John Paul High School tonight JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7.
