Students were able to connect with local businesses to investigate the amazing opportunities available to them in today's job market. They attended sessions with local business in the healthcare, manufacturing, skilled trades, finance, and hospitality industries. This week is SNOWCOMING! Show your school spirit by dressing up each day. Tomorrow is 2000’s throwback day. Wear your fashions from the 2000’s like tracksuits and all that stuff. Friday is Black and Teal day. Wear your school colors and show your school spirit! Freshman and Juniors are encouraged to wear teal, Sophomores and Seniors are encouraged to wear black. There is a debate club meeting today (2/1) after school in Mrs. Seaboyer's room for anyone eligible and interested in attending the February tournament. You must have competed in 2 tournaments prior to this one to attend. The meeting lasts until 3:30. Math Honor Society will have its February meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd at 3:10 in room 138 Sophomores who are interested in purchasing a parking space: JBHS currently has 9 excess parking spaces that will be assigned to Sophomores on a lottery basis. Any sophomore wishing to be placed in the lottery, must complete paperwork in its entirety and turn it in with a copy of driver’s license, valid vehicle registration, and $60 cash or check (made payable to JBHS). Please note: All monies will be held until lottery drawing is complete – students who do not receive a parking space will have their payment returned to them.
