All three girls placed in the top 10 at the Girls Class 2A state championships this past Friday. All three girls set new personal records and Rachel Lohan broke the JBHS school record with a 315lb total lift.

Our thoughts remain with Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Broward County Public Schools and the City of Parkland as we remember the 17 lives lost and many more who were injured during a senseless tragedy four years ago. We will never forget. #MSDStrong🦅

📚REAL-WORLD LEARNING HAPPENS HERE📚 Students from Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School joined hundreds of other students from throughout the Treasure Coast for the recent Career Connect Conference organized by CareerSource Research Coast. Students were able to connect with local businesses to investigate the amazing opportunities available to them in today's job market. They attended sessions with local business in the healthcare, manufacturing, skilled trades, finance, and hospitality industries. After lunch, they enjoyed listening to keynote speaker Kyle Greene, the president and founder of Kyle G's Prime Seafood! #ALLINMartin 👊 #GetthereFL #CTEMonth

For seven years Warrior weekend has been happening at JBHS with our JROTC Air Force program while I have been the principal. I never went to see it until today . These books were created with the "Explore My Future" CTE Academy Showcase in mind. This week is SNOWCOMING! Show your school spirit by dressing up each day. Tomorrow is 2000’s throwback day. Wear your fashions from the 2000’s like tracksuits and all that stuff. Friday is Black and Teal day. Wear your school colors and show your school spirit! Freshman and Juniors are encouraged to wear teal, Sophomores and Seniors are encouraged to wear black. There is a debate club meeting today (2/1) after school in Mrs. Seaboyer's room for anyone eligible and interested in attending the February tournament. You must have competed in 2 tournaments prior to this one to attend. The meeting lasts until 3:30. Math Honor Society will have its February meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd at 3:10 in room 138 Sophomores who are interested in purchasing a parking space: JBHS currently has 9 excess parking spaces that will be assigned to Sophomores on a lottery basis. Any sophomore wishing to be placed in the lottery, must complete paperwork in its entirety and turn it in with a copy of driver’s license, valid vehicle registration, and $60 cash or check (made payable to JBHS). Please note: All monies will be held until lottery drawing is complete – students who do not receive a parking space will have their payment returned to them. Parking applications for Sophomores will be accepted UNTIL 3:15 PM TODAY. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 3:15 PM ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND. Students will be notified by the end of the school day on Friday, February 4th if they received a parking spot so that they may pick up their decal in the Dean’s Office and begin parking on campus on Monday morning.
