Congratulations to Jensen Beach High School and Martin County High School for both being recognized by the College Board on the AP® School Honor Roll and achieving a Silver distinction.
The AP® School Honor Roll acknowledges schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to providing opportunities for students to earn college credit and maximize college readiness.
The AP School Honor Roll offers four levels of distinction: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Martin County High School had 52% of seniors who took at least one AP exam during high school, 34% of seniors scoring a three or higher on at least one AP exam, and 10% of seniors who took five or more AP exams, all of which tallied to the Silver distinction.
Jensen Beach High School attained a Silver distinction through the following statistics: 56% of seniors participated in at least one AP exam during their high school years, 44% of seniors achieved a score of three or higher on at least one AP exam, and 26% of seniors completed five or more AP exams.
Jensen Beach High School was further recognized with the AP Access Award, which honors schools demonstrating a clear and effective commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework.
