On November 9th, the Martin County High School Tiger Regiment made history at the FFCC (Florida Federation of Colorguards and Percussion) Outdoor Championships in Winter Garden, Florida. For the first time ever, the band advanced to the finals of a state championship event, securing an impressive 6th place finish in Class 3A and ranking 8th overall out of 30 bands from across the state.
The Tiger Regiment’s remarkable performance was the culmination of months of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Under the direction of Band Director Mr. Trevor Hayes and assisted by Ms. McAllister and Joe Flanagan, the band’s members demonstrated exceptional skill and perseverance, impressing judges and audiences alike with their precision, musicality, and energy.
This achievement marks a major milestone in the band’s history, as the Tiger Regiment has consistently worked to raise the bar and challenge themselves in new ways.
The Tiger Regiment’s performance at the FFCC Outdoor Championships was one of their most successful yet, and their outstanding result has earned them widespread recognition across the state. This marks an exciting chapter for the band program at Martin County High School, and the future looks bright as they continue to build on this achievement.
