On Friday, Sept 6, the MCHS Air Force JROTC Color Guard presented the colors before the start of the football game. This was the first 5-person OCP uniform detail in the history of the MCHS AFJROTC program.
On Saturday, Sept. 7, the MCHS Air Force JROTC cadets attended the FAU vs. the US Military Academy West Point Cadets football game in Boca Raton.

Join us in honoring the brave first responders and remembering the lives lost on 9/11 by walking alongside our courageous Martin County Fire Rescue and Martin County Sheriff's Office during the 9/11 Memorial Bridge Walk.
Superintendent Michael Maine encourages families, as well as middle and high school students, to take part in this meaningful tribute. Students who attend will receive an excused tardy with a special wristband from the Martin County Police Athletic League.
Opening ceremony starts at 8:30 a.m. at Jock Leighton Park.

MCHS School Pictures are scheduled for September 12 & 13. Students will be escorted during their English classes to have pictures taken by CADY Studios. Students who do not have an English class on campus may take their photos during any off block or their lunch period.
On 4 Sep, Wednesday, all of the MCHS Air Force JROTC cadets gathered for a "Tiger Call." The purpose of the Tiger Call is for all the cadets to get to know each other, share information, make announcements, introduce the cadets to the Senior Staff, Team Leaders, and Cadets running for the Cadet Council.
During the Tiger Call, it was announced that Cadet Major Katelyn Hardy, MCHS AFJROTC Corps Commander, was selected as the Homecoming representative for JROTC. Also, Cadet MSgt Kilee Brailo was selected as the August Cadet of the month for the Flight Level. Cadet TSgt Angeline Simpson was selected as the Staff Level Cadet of the month.

📣 Calling all high school families! Jensen Beach High PTSA is partnering with Class 101 Treasure Coast to offer ALL local high school students an ACT practice test opportunity.
The practice test will be administered on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Jensen Beach High School. The exam (paper) will be proctored, timed, graded and reviewed by Class 101.
The cost of the test is $25 - all proceeds go directly to JBHS PTSA. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Sept. 18. This is a great opportunity for students to get a feel for standardized testing and assess their current skill level!

Martin County High School celebrates the achievements of 27 students who earned the prestigious AP Capstone Scholar™ title, while 14 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honor™ and nine as AP Scholars of Distinction™. These students achieved an impressive average score of 3.7 on their AP exams, with AP Scholars of Distinction earning an average exam score of 4.53. Congratulations to all our AP Scholars for their outstanding accomplishments!

Florida Shines is excited to announce three free "College 101" webinars coming in September. These sessions are designed to help students and parents explore various education paths after high school.
Each webinar covers a key step in the admissions process: selecting an education path, creating an effective application, and financial aid. Experts on college admissions and financial aid will present the sessions and answer questions.
The MCHS AFJROTC Awareness Presentation Team assisted in both the MCHS Curriculum and Hidden Oaks MS Curriculum Night on 28-29 Aug 2024.
The MCHS Air Force JROTC cadets completed the Cadet Fitness Assessment Half on 30 Aug 2024. The CFA Half consisted of 30 seconds push-ups, 30 seconds sit ups, and half a mile run.
MCHS Air Force JROTC presented the colors for the first home game of the season. JROTC is also responsible for assisting in parking all the cars for each home football game.
