🏆HEADING TO STATE🏆 The Martin County High School wrestling team pinned their way to 7th in Regionals out of 30 teams this weekend! Three MCHS wrestlers took 3rd in their weight class and are heading to the State Championship! Congratulations to the MCHS AFJROTC Drill and Fitness team members who came in 3rd place in the Inaugural Congressman Mast Drill and Fitness competition. Team members: Sal Yonta, (Leader), Caden Kokinda, Santiago Pacheco, Grady Stahl, Katelyn Hardy, and Angeline Simpson. Events include the following: Uniform inspection, color guard, element drill, flag raising and folding, impromptu speech, 1 mile beach run, fitness circuit, and obstacle course relay.

Honor Flight presentation was held at MCHS on February 22 in the JROTC classroom.

CTE Month is recognized to applaud and highlight the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE programs across Florida. This is the perfect time to shine a spotlight on the incredible achievements of some of our CTE students who recently participated in the SkillsUSA Regional Contest at Orange Technical College in Orlando! Ten Martin County High School students participated in the regional contest with students competing in: Architectural Drafting, Automotive Maintenace & Light Repair, Baking & Pastry Arts, Computer Programming, Photography, Welding and Welding Sculpture. We're proud to share that Tishaly Acosta Ramos (Baking & Pastry Arts) and Chloe Tolton (Photography) took home bronze medals in their respective categories! This weekend our district wide indoor drumline MCI placed 4th in Scholastic A at FFCC competition. We are proud of all our students as the first year of this program continues to excel.

🥗 FRESH EATS 🥗 MCSD's Food & Nutrition Services department is piloting a new Fresh Eats food line at Martin County High School! Fresh Eats is a fully customizable meal line that gives students more control over what goes into their meal. Each "bowl" is built over the course of six steps. Feedback has been extremely positive so far. Food & Nutrition Services plans to roll out the Fresh Eats line to other schools soon. #ALLINMartin👊

MCHS is thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of Tishaly Acosta Ramos and Chloe Tolton at the Regional SkillsUSA Contest in Orlando! Tishaly secured the bronze medal in Baking & Pastry Arts, while Chloe triumphed with the bronze in Photography! Congratulations!

MCHS senior, Nira Goyal, has been selected as the recipient for the school's National Honor Society Scholarship!

On February 10, Martin County High School Colorguard secured their second first place of the season at Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Due to showing mastery at the Scholastic AAA class, they have been promoted to Scholastic AA class. We are beyond proud of this group of performers!

Spend Valentine's Day with MCHS Girls Basketball as we host our first regional game at 7pm!

MCHS Girls Basketball Team earned their first District Title since 2009 on 2/9/24 in a battle against Heritage High School 53-49.
