🇺🇸🇭🇹 Unlikely Heroes Come to Life in Ms. Paez’s Class! 🎨📚
During their powerful unit on the American and Haitian Revolutions, students in Ms. Paez’s class took a creative approach to history — designing posters that spotlighted Unlikely Heroes who shaped the fight for freedom.
Among them?
👧 A fearless teenage girl
👩👧 A determined mother of two
🌍 A Portuguese immigrant
🎖️ A former British general turned American patriot
✊ A formerly enslaved Black man who helped ignite revolution in Haiti
These inspiring figures remind us that heroism knows no boundaries — and that everyday people can change the course of history.
Incredible work by our students for honoring these voices and bringing history to life! 🕊️🔥
