Our Food and Nutrition Services teams have been practicing their gaming skills and perfecting the menus for their schools. National School Lunch Week highlights the nutritious foods available daily at each school in the District. Pledge to vote at MCHS during lunch on Thursday, October 5! All eligible 16- and 17-year-old students will have the opportunity to pre-register to vote. Students 18 years of age and older will have the opportunity to register to vote at that time as well.

⚠️NATIONWIDE ALERT⚠️ Around this time tomorrow, the Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission are planning to test both the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA). The test will occur Wednesday, October 4, at 2:20 p.m. It will be conducted in two parts, with one set to go to cell phones and the other to radio and TV stations. FEMA says the alert will have a unique tone and vibration to make the alert accessible to all recipients. Phones should receive the message only once in the 30 minutes after the test begins on Wednesday. #ALLINMartin👊

📚PRESERVING MEMORIES📚 High school yearbook teams recently created their own memories as they gained experience to preserve the memories for their classmates. The yearbook teams at Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School ventured to Pompano Beach High School for the District 7 Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) workshop. More than 850 students gathered to learn tips and tricks from professionals in journalism and yearbook production.
