She has done Dual Enrollment, she's a member of National Honor Society, head of the Health and Safety Committee in Leadership, and works at extended day at Citrus Grove Elementary School, caring for 25 Kindergartners. While doing all this she has been on the Honor Roll every semester. She hopes to work with children in the future. We are so proud of you Christina!!" "I cannot even begin to express the joy Maris has given to me and so many others," proud mom Susan shared. "She has overcome so many academic hurdles and there were many times I couldn’t see light at the end of a very long graduation tunnel. Lots of tears of frustration, but it has been WORTH it. Through all of this was a hero, Mr. Cody Wilson. I cannot say enough thanks to him for being so caring, always on top of everything, and constantly staying in touch to update me on Maris’ grades. Every student should have their own Mr. Wilson. MCHS has been a village to this single mom. I am grateful." Ms. Selvidge, who comes from Broward County, will spend the next few months working alongside Mr. Fabrizio, who is set to retire at the end of this school year. Ms. Selvidge brings a wealth of experience as a school administrator with her to Martin County. 🌳🎨INSPIRED BY NATURE🎨🌳 About 80 students from Martin County High School, South Fork High School, Jensen Beach High School and Clark Advanced Learning Center recently gathered at Memorial Park in Downtown Stuart for a day full of art! MartinArts partners with local artists and hosts our students to help grow their artistic talents through different mediums. These artists share their lessons in art and life as professional artists. Students practiced in the art of ceramics, field sketching, acrylic, indigo dyeing and photography while enjoying a beautiful day outside and using nature as their muse. ⭐CELEBRATING WORLDWIDE ACHIEVEMENT⭐ During Martin County High School's award ceremony last night, one student had a surprise announcement about a HUGE accomplishment. Ricardo Rivera, a sophomore in the Cambridge Assessment International Education program at MCHS, learned he had the HIGHEST scoring grade for the AS Thinking Skills syllabus in the WORLD! More than 160 countries participate in AICE, and Ricardo earned this score as a freshman! Congratulations Ricardo!
