🎉November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Native American peoples! 🎉 🌽Our students have been exploring and honoring this important part of our shared history through literature and art. Their amazing work, from detailed art pieces to thoughtful reflections on indigenous tribes, stories and traditions is showcased throughout the school.🦅 #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth #igniteMCSDspirit

Thanksgiving Break has officially begun for our students, teachers, and school-based employees! 🦃🍁🍂
Wishing you all a joyful, restful, and safe holiday. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Monday, December 2.

Yesterday, Fourth Grade participated in the exciting "Dig It" program, hosted by the Children's Museum. They brought the history of Native American tribes to life through hands-on activities and ancient artifacts. Students had the opportunity to create their own necklaces and clay pinch pots, giving them a deeper connection to the culture and traditions of the Native American people.

🌱🌼 Great things are happening in our school gardens! Our amazing Garden Club students have been working hard to create beautiful green spaces. A huge thank you to Bulldog Nursery for their generous donation of plants! 🌿🙌 With your support, our students are not only learning about nature, but also making our school a more vibrant place. Together, we’re growing a greener future! 💚🌸
