Our 1st graders used their engineering skills as they designed and built road maps for our PBL on motion! Students used what they knew and learned about how things moved to test how different materials changed how their cars moved! Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping make our first PBL a success!

❤️🐾💚What an incredible December Spirit Day at Palm City Elementary! Wildcats united through our patriotic songs and celebrated birthdays! Our school celebrated our amazing students and community for raising an astounding $32,000 through the Turkey Trot! Finally, we played reindeer games, sang songs with our PCE Band & Chorus, and learned about Habit 3 - Put first things first! ❤️🐾💚 #igniteSPIRITMCSD #ignitePAWSibilities

This past Friday VPK had a Holiday Around the World event where the parents came in for activities to do with each of the students. Each group got a chance to read holiday books, make a Kwanza bracelet, and a dreidel for Hanukkah out of marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and Hershey kisses.

December is a magical time in kindergarten as we celebrate Gingerbread month! 🍭📚 We love reading and comparing and contrasting different texts about the Gingerbread Man. A special shoutout to our wonderful volunteers for decorating our doorways to look like stunning Gingerbread houses! 🎉 From traditional to "Pink-mas" and even Taylor Swift-themed, each Gingerbread house is a work of art! 🏠💖

We had an extra helper in the Wildcat Cafe!  She was happy to help serve our students fresh made pizza.🍕

Fourth-grade students worked on projects to explain how the phases of the moon change over the course of a month. By studying the moon's phases, students learned important scientific concepts such as orbits, the relationship between the Earth, moon, and Sun, and how light affects what we see from Earth.
