The Martin County School District held its oath of office ceremony for Superintendent Michael Maine this afternoon. Superintendent Maine’s family joined school district staff for the occasion, allowing many of the employees in attendance the opportunity to meet and greet while enjoying delicious refreshments provided by our Food & Nutrition Services team. The Martin County School Board named Mr. Maine the Martin County School District’s Superintendent of Schools in April 2023, approving a four-year initial employment contract as part of the measure. #ALLINMartin👊

🍽NOURISHING ALL STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS🍽 Can you believe summer is just around the corner?! During the Summer Break, the Martin County School District will continue to nourish all students for success! Our Food & Nutrition Services Department will continue to offer free meals to children aged 18 and under during the summer months with no income restrictions. 📏➕CELEBRATING ALL-STAR MATHLETES➕📏 Palm City Elementary School students were presented with a huge trophy last night for winning the first-ever 5th Grade Math Olympics! Kayla Glancy, Dylan Hamilton, Evan Martinez, Connor Gray and Elsa Peng, with the help of their Math Coach, Ms. Julia Garcia, competed in various rounds involving problem-solving, critical thinking, and speed math against the 11 other elementary schools in the District. These PAWesome Wildcats were victorious and get to house the Math Olympics trophy until the next inaugural games! Congratulations! #ALLINMartin👊

💚MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS💚 Mental health is just as important as physical health. The Martin County School District is proud to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and contribute to the efforts that fight stigma, provide support, and enhance our knowledge about mental illness. Proof forms have been sent out and if your student was photographed they should have the paper order form with their password to view.
