The 8th Annual Cardboard Boat Races took over the Martin County High School pool today—and yes, there were boats that floated… and boats that absolutely did not. 😂🌊
This year was extra fun with middle school joining for the first time!
🏆 Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School swept the speed awards in middle school and also took home Most Spirited Team!
🏆 Crystal Lake Elementary School dominated the elementary speed awards, while Bessey Creek Elementary School brought the spirit and earned Most Spirited Team!

We had an amazing time yesterday at our 2nd Annual Special Olympics event held at Pinewood Elementary! 💙❤️🏅💛🖤
A huge shoutout to our incredible athletes - 16 participants who showed determination, joy, and true sportsmanship throughout the day. You all made this event so special!

The next few weeks are critical as we prepare for our final Progress Monitoring (PM3) window. Your support at home makes a big difference! Please be sure to visit our school website to view the April newsletter and school calendar, which include all important dates and upcoming events.
We are excited about a busy and engaging week ahead! This week we welcome families to our Spring Book Fair and Parent Conference Night—wonderful opportunities to support literacy and partner together for student success.
On April 4, we proudly celebrate School Librarian Day and honor our incredible Media Specialist, Mrs. Bowser. She works tirelessly to inspire a love of reading in our Panthers, and we are so grateful for all she does.
This week is also Assistant Principal Week, and we are thrilled to recognize Mrs. Porter! Her knowledge, skills, and dedication to our students, staff, and families are truly unmatched. We appreciate her leadership every day.

Las próximas semanas son fundamentales mientras nos preparamos para la ventana final de Progress Monitoring (PM3). ¡Su apoyo en casa marca una gran diferencia! ¡Nos emociona una semana llena de actividades! Esta semana damos la bienvenida a nuestras familias a la Feria del Libro de Primavera y a la Noche de Conferencias para Padres, excelentes oportunidades para apoyar la lectura y fortalecer nuestra colaboración para el éxito de los estudiantes.
El 4 de abril celebramos el Día del Bibliotecario Escolar y reconocemos con orgullo a nuestra increíble Especialista en Medios, la Sra. Bowser. Ella trabaja incansablemente para fomentar el amor por la lectura en nuestros Panthers, y estamos muy agradecidos por todo lo que hace.
Esta semana también celebramos la Semana del Subdirector, y estamos encantados de reconocer a la Sra. Porter. Su conocimiento, habilidades y dedicación hacia nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias son verdaderamente incomparables. Agradecemos su liderazgo todos los días.

7 de abril: Reunión de PTA a las 5:30 p. m. y Cub Scouts a las 6:00 p. m.
8 de abril: Noche de Conferencias para Padres, de 5:00 a 8:00 p. m.
10 de abril: Viernes de Palomitas
