Last week, we welcomed Busch Wildlife Sanctuary for an engaging presentation on land animal adaptations. Students explored how Florida animals use camouflage, strength, speed, and other unique traits to survive in their habitats.
We also partnered with the Cox Science Center and Aquarium for an exciting Shark Tooth Lab, where students examined real shark teeth and learned how sharksโ adaptations as apex predators help them thrive in the ocean.
From forest floors to ocean depths, our Pinewood scientists are making real-world connections and bringing science to life!

Hello Pinewood Families,
