On the first day of the 2023-2024 school year, more than 120 new educators started their first day as Martin County School District teachers.
Thanks to the District's Professional Learning Department, instructional coaches, administrators and District leaders, those new educators were ready for day one of the 23-24 school year. That's because they attended the renowned New Educator Orientation from July 26-28.
NEO equips educators who are new to the profession or District with the critical knowledge they need to be ready to make an impact from day one in their classrooms. They learn who to go to for support throughout the year and, most importantly, that they have support from their MCSD colleagues whenever they need it!
