The Martin County School District is pleased to announce that the millage referendum renewal on this year’s General Election ballot was approved by a majority of Martin County voters. With this support, the District will be able to continue funding essential programs and services for students beginning 2026, when the current millage expires, through 2030.
The funds generated through this non-recurring, four-year operating referendum will support:
Enhanced School Safety and Security
Mental Health Programs
Recruitment and Retention of Highly Qualified Teachers and Support Staff
Professional Development Programs for Staff
Academic Initiatives for Students
The District is deeply appreciative of the Martin County community's support and the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about the future of education in our schools. This continued investment reflects our community’s shared commitment to providing safe, supportive, and enriching learning environments for every student in Martin County.
Thank you to our community for partnering with us to shape the future of education for our students.
