All In Martin-Episode 5

The Martin County School District is excited to release the fifth episode of All In Martin, our monthly podcast for families, staff, and community members!

Airing April 15, this month’s episode dives into what middle school is really like—from the perspective of parents who know it best.

Three moms—Nikki Hackett (Murray Middle School), Allison Walker (Hidden Oaks Middle School), and Megan Campbell (Stuart Middle School)—share their honest experiences navigating the middle school years with their children. From the transition between 5th and 6th grade to how their kids are growing, thriving, and finding their place, these parents offer valuable insight into life in our public middle schools.

They also discuss the impact of being active in their school communities through the PTA, and how staying involved has helped them feel more connected and empowered as parents.

The episode wraps with an invitation for families to attend middle school preview nights–virtual or in person– or request a school tour and a reminder that the District’s annual Engagement & Satisfaction Survey has launched—giving families a valuable opportunity to share feedback and help improve student success.
