As part of its continued commitment to educating all students for success, the Martin County School District (MCSD) is launching its annual Satisfaction and Engagement Surveys on April 15, 2025. These surveys provide stakeholders the opportunity to give feedback on their level of satisfaction and engagement regarding school and District-based programs, outreach efforts, initiatives and resources.

The MCSD has continued to partner with the University of Chicago's Consortium on School Research, utilizing evidence-based essential questions that will inform our ongoing efforts to deliver an exceptional educational experience to all students. These surveys will gather data related to five indicators that can predict important student outcomes, including improved attendance and test score gains. These five indicators that affect and predict school success are:

  • Effective Leaders

  • Collaborative Teachers

  • Involved Families

  • Supportive Environments

  • Ambitious Instruction

Research has demonstrated that schools that were strong on at least three of these indicators were 10 times more likely to improve student learning gains in math and reading.

Parents/caregivers, teachers and students enrolled in grades 4-12 are encouraged to complete the surveys, which will be used to inform and develop school improvement goals.

“The feedback gathered in this survey will be instrumental in evaluating our districtwide progress and refining our strategies to achieve ‘well-organized’ status across all five domains. This ongoing insight empowers us to enhance educational practices and drive innovation in our schools,” said Superintendent Michael Maine.

The Satisfaction and Engagement Surveys launches Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and will close Friday, May 9, 2025. Parents/caregivers of students who choose to complete the survey may request a copy of survey questions from their child's school or the school district if desired.

Parents who have children enrolled in more than one school are encouraged to complete a parent survey for each school.

  • Students in grades 4-12 are eligible to take the survey and will need their ID (4300) number and birthdate to log in.

  • Teachers will receive an email with their unique login and passcode when the survey opens, and non-respondents are sent reminders each Monday that the survey is open.

  • Parents will need to enter the school name to take the survey.

The feedback received through these surveys is invaluable. MCSD is grateful to every stakeholder partnering with us on our mission to provide an excellent education for all students.
