🇺🇸CELEBRATE FREEDOM WEEK🇺🇸 Today marks the start of Celebrate Freedom Week in the Martin County School District! The Florida Legislature designated the last full week in September as "Celebrate Freedom Week" to highlight the significance of the Declaration of Independence. Students will explore the meaning of the Declaration of Independence, reflecting on the principles our nation was founded on, through engaging, age-appropriate lessons in social studies. Does your student need a ✨spark✨ of imagination for their STEM Fair project? 🔬 Join us for SPARK, (Scientific Problem-solving Academy of Research and Knowledge), where local scientists will help students with STEM Fair project ideas and share their work and knowledge of STEM-based careers. 📆 September 19, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at J.D. Hobe Sound: School lanyards and student ID badges must be worn daily. These assist with safety, lunch purchases, bus boarding, and library check out. Thank you for building a strong habit with having this daily. We recommend they are stored in student backpacks.

Hobe Sound Elementary is kicking off our MCSD Reads incentive program for students! MCSD Reads provides opportunities for students to read independently, demonstrate an understanding of what they read and increase their independent reading fluency. Students will take the Accelerated Reader quizzes through the MCSD Reads icon in Classlink. Once they have met their reading point goal, students will earn a coin to use in the book vending machine and be given a point club charm. In addition, students will be recognized on the morning announcements and have their names displayed on our MCSD Reads bulletin board. We are looking forward to celebrating their successes! #MCSDSPIRIT

If you have been waiting on a code for your family, please be on the lookout for an email from do-not-reply@reaxium.com with the subject line, "You have been invited to the MyReaXiumApp!" and be sure to check your spam/junk folders if you are unable to locate it.
