The focus is on RESPECT. The purpose is to promote respect across campus and really call attention to those students who are respectful of others property, use respectful words, treat others the way they want to be treated, etc. Students can have no negative referrals between 2/27 - 3/9 or 3/10 in order to attend this special event. MCSD Reads! updates Congratulations to JBE students for beating FAWE in the MCSD reads competition. In addition, we are in first place in the district. Congratulations to Mrs. Pendergast’s class for winning the pop-up shop challenge by have the most points in the first two days. • The class at each grade level who earns the most MCSD points by the end of the contest (2/13-2/27), gets an extra day of PE the week before spring break! • The one class in the school that earns the most points by the end of the contest (2/13-2/27) receives a pizza party. • The student that earns the most points will get a special reward… have lunch with your favorite staff member at a VIP table!

🇺🇲SAFE DELIVERY🇺🇲 Martin County Fire Rescue is all about rescuing people when they need help, and we appreciate them for their hard work. Unfortunately, for some of the eggs, no amount of firefighters could save them from their fate. That was up to Martin County School District students to create egg protection devices during the annual Egg Drop Competition! Of the 154 students who participated in this year's Egg Drop challenge, 52 eggs survived in their homemade protection devices. We are very proud of all our students, and we appreciate the assistance from the firefighters! #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud #MCSDTheRippleEffect

💚THE WIZARDS OF SOUTH FORK💚 South Fork High School proudly hosted the Felix A. Williams Elementary and Jensen Beach Elementary School students for lunch and a show! Students got a sneak peek of the South Fork Drama Program The Wizard of Oz, performed under the guidance of Sheri Bryan. It was such a fantastic show that the kids gave it 10 stars out of 5! "Thank you to the Felix and Jensen teachers and chaperones for sharing some time at South Fork. The kids were WONDERFUL examples of the most precious resources Martin County has to offer! So proud of the elementary students and the South Fork students. We serve the BEST," said Dr. Timothy Aitken, Principal of SFHS. If you haven't seen the show yet, make sure to check it out! 2nd graders in Mrs. Clark's class have been working on creating their own narrative stories. Today, they took a minute and proofread and talked story elements with their very own desk pets 😊
