🔱In Ms. Nicholas's Freshman English class, students brought The Odyssey to life through creative tableau performances, staging key moments like Odysseus’ dramatic return to Ithaca, his long-awaited reunion with Penelope, and the epic battle against the suitors. Through expressive poses, teamwork, and storytelling--and sometimes even costumes--they captured the tension, triumph, and emotion of Homer’s classic. Who knew analyzing epic poetry could be this much fun?🔱

⚖️Students in Mrs. Utech’s AP U.S. Government & Politics classes finished the 3rd quarter with a fun project called “Save My Agency!” Student groups researched a federal agency of their choice and then created and delivered a presentation to convince their classmates that their agency should be saved from budget cuts and layoffs. It was an engaging way to learn how the federal bureaucracy helps carry out the responsibilities of the federal government through their discretionary and rulemaking authority. Students also discovered the various ways the 3 branches of government can hold the bureaucracy accountable through checks and balances. They did a great job and many of them had fun with it and dressed the part!
