Homecoming Week/Spirit Week begins on Monday! For this Spirit Week, there will be fun dress days each day.
Monday: “The Roaring 2000’s”: A throwback at JBHS. Come dressed in your best 2000’s outfit.
Tuesday: “Anything but a backpack”: Use anything but a backpack, (no shopping carts, or anything else that might be harmful or difficult to take down the stairs). Examples of good ideas include a shopping basket, small cooler, mini fridge, shopping bag.
Wednesday: “Whimsical Wednesday”: Come dressed as your favorite fairy tale character.
Thursday: “Stages of Life”:
     Freshmen - babies
     Sophomore - middle schoolers
     Juniors - middle-aged
     Seniors - senior citizens
Friday: Falcon Friday: Wear your class colors and be ready for the pep rally!

Tickets are $25 and on sale during A and B lunches. The first 1000 students to purchase tickets are guaranteed the time of their life!

The Falcons’ volleyball team will compete in the East Coast Challenge today and tomorrow here at JBHS. Good luck, ladies!
Any girl interested in playing flag football there will be a meeting after school September 20th to discuss conditioning dates and upcoming season expectations. Any questions see Coach Gilly in room 119.
The boys’ bowling team won their 4th straight match Thursday, defeating Sebring. After dropping the first game of the match, clutch performances from juniors Chase McNamara, Vaughn Berhoff and Kasey Davis led the team to victory in the second game and ultimately in the tie break. Both the boys and girls bowling teams will face off against Martin County on Tuesday, Sept. 20th, at Stuart Lanes. Way to go, Falcons!
Our varsity football team will travel to Wellington HS this evening. The game begins at 6:30. Let’s go, Falcons!
Tomorrow, our girls’ golf team will compete in the Junior Grapefruit Classic tournament.
Our cross-country team will travel to Palm Beach Central invitational.

There will be a boys’ golf match at home vs. MCHS and Okeechobee and a girls’ golf match at Lincoln Park Academy. Both matches begin at 3:30.
Our bowling teams will take on Sebring today at Jensen Beach Bowl. Both matches begin at 3:30.
The JBHS swimming teams will take on LPA, Pine School, and SFHS today at Sailfish Splash Park. The tournament will begin at 4:00 PM.
The JV football team will take on SFHS tonight at home. The game begins at 6:00.

The Boys bowling team earned their 3rd consecutive win on Tuesday defeating South Fork High School 2 games to none. Junior Chase McNamara led the team with a high game of 216 and high series total of 421. Sophomore Henry Dieffenbach’s series total of 335 helped the Falcon’s secure the win. The boys recorded a season high, single game total of 880 pins in the second game yesterday. Both the boys and the girls teams will face off against Sebring on Thursday, 3:30 pm, at Jensen Beach Bowl.

Jensen Beach girl’s golf won their first match of the season over Suncoast, 167-172.
Hannah Erwig scored a team low 38 for the round.
Chloe Sebuck chipped in with a 39.
Grace Ayers finished with a 44 and Faith Ayers a 46.
The boys’ and girls’ bowling teams won their matches 2-0 against LPA yesterday! Vaughn Berhoff led the boys with a high series score of 368 while Chase McNamara had the team high game of 194. The girls’ team was led by seniors Tatum Bean and Allie Schroeder who scored series totals of 197 and 206 respectively. The bowling team will travel to Stuart Lanes to face South Fork on Tuesday. The match starts at 3:30.
The boys’ and girls’ swim and dive teams won their first meet of the season vs Okeechobee.
The JV football team beat Dwyer. Thanks to our cheer team who traveled to cheer them on.

There will be a GIRLS WRESTLING interest meeting Friday, September 2 at 8:05 AM in the gym with Coach McMath. If you are interested and can’t make it, please see Coach McMath.
The boys’ bowling team defeated Vero Beach 2 games to none yesterday earning their first win of the season. Junior Vaughn Berhoff led the way with a team high series of 343 narrowly edging out fellow junior Chase McNamara’s 340 series. Sophomore Henry Dieffenbach and junior George Secor recorded series totals of 308 and 318 respectively to solidify the win. Both the boys’ and girls’ bowling teams will play Lincoln Park Academy on Thursday at Jensen Beach Bowl. Game time is 3:30 pm.
