Wish those girls luck today! We are sure they will crush the competition. The Girls soccer team is traveling to Somerset Academy today for a game. Make sure you wish them luck before they take off! Here at home the boys' soccer team is having their senior night. They will be taking on the Benjamin school. Make sure you get there and cheer our boys on. The senior night festivities will be during halftime. There is a varsity game only. It will begin at 6:30. Also, here at home, the Wrestling team will be hosting the 1A Region 4 dual meet. Three out of the five best teams in the state will be competing. It should be an exciting meet, so be sure to be here by 6:00 to cheer on our boys. The winner of this meet will go on to compete at the State tournament next week.

The first is Jade Andersen, on the girls' soccer team. This Falcon keeper made nine saves to help Jensen Beach knock off previously unbeaten Treasure Coast 2-1 on Jan. 4. The second is the wrestler, Ryan Duguay. At the Cradle Cancer Invitational on Jan. 7-8, Duguay went 4-0 and defeated Palm Harbor’s Connor Reeves with a 3-1 decision to win the championship in the 132-pound division. The boys' soccer team will be taking on Port St. Lucie High school. Please wish them luck as they travel up there tonight. The game has been moved from 5PM to 6PM.

The graduation rate for the three traditional, District-operated high schools - Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School- increased to 97.1% in 2021, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over last year's rate and 7 percentage points above the state's overall graduation rate of 90.1%. Attention Falcon Senior Class of 2022: The All Saints Episcopal Church LeDuc Scholarship did not receive their minimum scholarship applications and have asked to reopen the scholarship deadline to JBHS seniors through January 14th. Please go the the District Scholarship page and find the special application in the local Scholarship Directory under All Saints Episcopal Church. You must email your application and letters of recommendation to scholarships@martinschools.org before the new deadline January 14th. They are hoping to give 10 scholarships to JBHS students this year so please apply.

The boys' basketball team beat Port Saint Lucie high school last night, way to go guys! The JV Wrestling team will be having their first tournament tomorrow at Jupiter high school. Be sure and wish them luck. The Varsity Wrestling team is traveling all the way to Delaware this weekend to take part in the “Beast of the East'' tournament. It is the premiere tournament on the east coast of the US and the boys will be facing some tough competition. Be sure and wish those guys luck! The boys' basketball team will take on Okeechobee tonight. The JV starts at 5:30 and the Varsity starts at 7PM. Can’t wait to see all of you there, it’s going to be a great game.
