For the first time in school history, the Tiger Regiment has a winter indoor percussion ensemble. This group had their first competition at John I. Leonard High School and took 5th place in their division. They will continue to compete until the end of March.

A big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to our HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) club members who just completed their regional leadership competition. We had 29 students participating in the regional virtual competition last month. Students competed In events such as Health Education, Job Seeking Skills, Health Career Display and Nursing Assisting to name a few. Martin County High School had 28 students place in the top 5 for their events.

14- Second place medals
1-Third place medal
6- Fourth place medals
6- Fifth place medals

MCHS is pleased to offer the ASVAB test for 10-12 grade students on February 16 at 9am. Administered by military recruiters but with no obligation to join the military. The test is free. It tests a student's vocational interests & goals. Sign up in the School Counseling office.

MCHS Families - Our fire alarm was set off by a smoke detector head in a restroom this morning. While students and staff were evacuated for a brief period, Martin County Fire Rescue responded to campus and determined there was no fire and no danger. Teaching and learning are continuing as planned. Please do not hesitate to contact our school with any questions. We appreciate your continued support.
Our Color Guard had its winterguard competition of the season at Palm Beach Gardens High School where they placed second in their class. Congratulations ladies!

MCSD is offering Paper, free on-demand virtual tutoring. Paper's online tutors will be available 24/7 year-round to assist students across more than 200 subject areas. These virtual tutoring services will be offered in English, Spanish, French and Mandarin.
