🎉Add this to the list of things we are celebrating in the new year - the District earned its highest graduation ever in 2021! 🎉
According to data released Tuesday by the Florida Department of Education, MCSD earned a graduation rate of 94.1% in 2021, a 3.9 percentage point increase over its graduation rate of 90.2% in 2020. The graduation rate for the three traditional, District-operated high schools - Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School- increased to 97.1% in 2021, an increase of 1.8 percentage points over last year's rate and 7 percentage points above the state's overall graduation rate of 90.1%.

It is with great excitement that I share with you that the MCHS 2020-2021 graduation rate of 97.2 % is the highest graduation rate MCHS has ever earned since graduation rate started being calculated and incorporated into the school grade formula (2009). The 97.2 % Grad Rate represents a 2.7% increase over the 2019-2020 Grad Rate and is higher than both the state and district average! At MCHS our vision is “Every student will graduate college and career capable.” We so greatly appreciate the support of our families and community as we strive to realize our vision.

The Pathfinders of Palm Beach/Martin County Scholarship Fund Awards are presented each year to 54 of the best and brightest seniors in Martin and Palm Beach counties who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academic, vocational and athletic categories. One of the largest and most comprehensive high school scholarship programs in the state, the Pathfinder Awards program grants nominees the honor of competing against their peers for more than $170,000 in college scholarships.

The Martin County Tigers had an excellent Fall Sports Season on the field, courses, courts, lanes, and pools.
The Tigers also showed what it means to be a student-athlete as ALL Fall Sports Teams earned the designation of Florida High School Athletic Association Academic Team Champion Nominee by earning Team Grade Point Averages of 3.0 and higher.
It was the fourth consecutive (Fall ’20, Winter ’21, Spring ’21, and Fall’21) season that all teams earned 3.0 or higher.
The Football Team (4th), Volleyball Team (8th), and Boys Swimming & Diving (9th) all earned Top 10 Finishes by sport in the state this fall.

On December 9, 2021, the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced its Fall Academic Team Champions of the 2021 season. Each Martin County high school earned a top-ten finish in more than one sport. Twelve MCSD teams, including all three football teams, were named among the state's top five academic performers in their respective classes!
