Special thanks to Mr. Paul of Jensen Beach High School and Ms. Caswell of Murray Middle School for their work in organizing this memorable event, which has seen the number of participants grow each year. 🚀 ROCKETS TAKE FLIGHT🚀 J. D. Parker Elementary School fourth-graders recently worked to construct a rocket while also determining ways to keep spacecraft “passengers” safe. The students used eggs as their passengers - if an egg cracked, it didn’t survive the mission. The students were able to keep two eggs intact for their flights. Way to go, Rockets! #ALLINMartin👊

🏊‍♀️🏆CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE🏊‍♀️🏆 Jensen Beach High School senior Blair Stoneburg had an inkling of what she could achieve if Friday's 2A Florida High School Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championship went perfectly. Already one of the best swimmers to ever come from the Treasure Coast, Stoneburg put a stamp on her decorated career in her own backyard. The Wisconsin Swimming and Diving commit became only the 21st girl in state history to win seven gold medals in individual races and added two more golds in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay races as the anchor for the Falcons that led to JBHS finishing a program-best second place in the state! 🍎WEIGHING SCHOOL BOUNDARY OPTIONS🍎 Story via TCPalm - The Martin County School Board still wants to redraw school boundaries for next school year, but a big question remains: who will be affected? At issue is whether the Board should focus solely on easing enrollments at the district's three high schools or also address elementary and middle school enrollments and zone boundaries. The Boundary Advisory Committee has recommended the School Board address overcapacity at high schools. Of six possible options to redraw school zone boundaries — based on current maps and enrollment and future growth projections — the committee recommended three plans that impact only high schools. The other three options address elementary or middle schools. Please click the link below to read more. The School Board's discussion will continue during its upcoming meeting at 4:00 p.m. on November 16. https://www.tcpalm.com/story/news/education/2021/11/03/should-martin-county-get-fourth-high-school-board-could-consider/6200618001/. #ALLINMartin👊
