March 14 (3/14) is all about celebrating ฯ (pi) โ the never-ending number that helps us measure circles and unlock the wonders of math! Did you know pi has been calculated to over 62 trillion digits? ๐คฏ Talk about a number that never quits!
Across our schools today, students will embrace the fun of Pi Day with exciting activities, from memorizing digits of pi to hands-on math challenges.

Hello Pinewood Family,
We have made a change to the date of our Walk-aThon. We are rescheduling it after Spring Break. Just wait until you see all of the fun you'll have as we reach our main goal. I can already feel the cool whip cream pie on my face! Ay Dios Mio! More information will come very soon. The money raised will be used to refurnish and reimagine our Media Center. The IXL March Madness challenge is on! Let's knock off our competitors by showing off how many lessons you can pass at proficiency. Remember to move on to the next lesson after you reach proficiency. Tuesday is our SAC Meeting at 5:30 pm. We are excited to share information about our new journey to becoming an AVID school and extremely excited to show off our class Science projects and winners of the District STEM Fair. All who attend will have a chance to vote for the Crowd Favorite award starting at 6:00 pm after the AVID presentation.

Congratulations to the talented winners of the 2024-2025 Kids Tag Art competition!
Hundreds of our fifth graders put their creativity to work in the 7th Annual Kids Tag Art contest, sponsored by Martin County Tax Collector, Ruth Pietruszewski. Using both artistic and critical thinking skills, students designed unique tags that families and community members can purchase as license plates, key fobs, or bike plates.
We're excited to celebrate these winners at the Annual Kids Tag Art Awards on April 2, 2025, in the Martin County School District Board Room! ๐จ๐
